Surely, the ideal will be to choose a place near where you live or where most of your guests live. But perhaps it is important for you to get married near the sea or the mountain and even if it is a little further away, you decide to celebrate the wedding there.
Another option, totally different and trendy, would be to organize a destination wedding. Celebrate the wedding in another country or location far away from where you are (Barcelona, Tuscany, Greece, Mexico…) and that the guests and the bride and groom travel there for the wedding. It will be an amazing experience!
In all cases, it will be important that the wedding venue has and easy access and has parking, especially if guests are coming by car or bus.
It will also be important to consider if the venue has accommodation at the same place or nearby, especially if guests travel from abroad.

Suitable venue according to the number of guests
Another aspect to consider will be the number of guests you will be at the wedding, since it will depend on the wedding venue to choose.
If for example it is a big wedding, of about 200 guests, it will be important that the venue has large spaces, a large hall for the reception and the party, services suitable for this number of guests, etc.
In the other hand, if it is a small wedding, of about 50 guests, the ideal will be to choose a cozier space so that it doesn’t look empty or cold.

Wedding date
For some couples, the wedding date is very important, and they want a specific date, either because they celebrate years together or it is a meaningful date for them. Knowing if the space you like, has availability that date will be a key point to choose your perfect wedding hall.
Other couples do not want a specific date, but they want it to be in a specific season or month. In this case, it will be important to consider whether the wedding venue is available and ready for a wedding at that time.
For example, if you want to organize a winter wedding, it will be important that the venue has a conditioned indoor space, a good plan B in case of rain or bad weather, heating, etc. And if, on the contrary, you want to organize a summer wedding, and for example you want to make the dinner outside, it will be important that the venue is prepared for it, have outdoor lighting, shady areas, air conditioning in the interior spaces, etc.

Plan B of a wedding is an alternative in case of rain or bad weather. It is essential that the venue has a plan B, if not all preparations can be ruined. For example, for the ceremony, if the main option is to do it outside in the garden, the venue would also have to have an indoor room, where the ceremony could take place in case of rain. If the venue doesn’t have this option, you can consider renting an outdoor tent.
